Exposed roots are the results of gum recession. Your gums may have receded for a variety of reasons. We will help you identify and control, if possible, the reasons contributing to the recession and then repair the gums with soft tissue graft. Indentation in the Gum and Bone
Sometimes when one or more teeth are lost, you can develop an indentation in the gums and bone where the tooth used to be. This happens because the gums and bone recede when they no longer are holding a tooth in place. Not only is the indentation unnatural looking, but it also causes the replacement to look too long compared to the adjacent teeth.
