We can evaluate your current smile and offer suggestions for gaining the look you want. Don't underestimate the value of your smile.

Short Teeth, Gummy Smile, Uneven Gumline

Procedures are available to reshape and recontour gum and bone tissues around the teeth. The gumline is sculpted to give your new smile just the right look. If cosmetic dental restorations are needed, this procedure sets the stage allowing them to have the correct length and shape for your beautiful new smile. This simple cosmetic procedure may be just right for you.

Long Teeth, Exposed Roots, Sensitive Roots

If you are getting "long of tooth" before your time, or if exposed roots are sensitive to cold or hot or sweets, there are special procedures to cover root surfaces of teeth. Exposed roots are the results of gum recession. Your gums may have receded for a variety of reasons. We will help you identify and control, if possible, the reasons contributing to the recession and then repair the gums with soft tissue graft. These grafts can be used to cover exposed root surfaces or to develop gum tissue which is absent due to excessive gingival recession.

Indentation in the Gum and Bone

Sometimes when one or more teeth are lost, you can develop an indentation in the gums and bone where the tooth used to be. This happens because the gums and bone recede when they no longer are holding a tooth in place. Not only is the indentation unnatural looking, but it also causes the replacement to look too long compared to the adjacent teeth. We can fill in" this defect with a procedure called the ridge augmentation, which can recapture the natural contour of your gums and bone. A new tooth can then be created that is natural looking and easy to take care of.
